The association of the Bureau des Doctorant de l’Université de Haute-Alsace was founded by 7 PhD students from the Université de Haute-Alsace. These 7 doctoral students met on December 11, 2025 to hold the first General Assembly (known as the constitutive one) in order to adopt the initial statutes and the name of the association in order to create it.
The statutes were deemed compliant by the Mulhouse Judicial Court, and the Bureau des Doctorants de l’Université de Haute-Alsace was entered in the register of associations at the Mulhouse Judicial Court on January 15, 2026.
On January 18, 2026, the opinion of the Mulhouse Judicial Court was published in the local newspaper L'Alsace so that the association could have extended legal capacity by becoming a legal entity that can carry out all the acts of legal life necessary for its activity, without limitation.
